KNWS Names New Morning Co-Host

KNWS/Waterloo, IA (Life 101.9) weekend host April Wilson has been promoted to Listener Engagement Director and Morning Show Co-Host.

April said “When I rekindled my relationship with Jesus, I didn’t think getting back into the radio industry would be something I would ever be interested in. But God had a different plan. I started listening to Life 101.9, started volunteering for the fundraisers, attended a Girls’ Night Out event, started giving financially and most recently started working part time. It was definitely His plan that I am moving into a new role and am so excited to share Jesus’s love with others in a bigger way than even I could imagine.”

Station Manager Matt Deane said “In a short time, April has become a valued member of the Life 101.9 team. Her passion for the ministry shines through in her work, and I am so excited to see how God will use her in this new role.”

April begins her new assignment at Life 101.9 on April 5th.

Life 101.9 is a part of the Northwestern Media network of University of Northwestern – St. Paul. Northwestern Media operates 21 stations in 13 markets across 10 states. Their radio signals reach more than 1.25 million listeners each week.
