KNWI “Emergency Hygiene Drive”

KNWI/Des Moines (Life 107.1) listeners came together to support the work of Agape Pregnancy Resource Center by supplying much-needed items during a drive-thru event. Life 107.1 facilitated an “Emergency Hygiene Drive” to benefit the families Agape serves. Listeners restocked the ministry’s pantry with much-needed supplies such as laundry detergent, dish soap and multi-purpose cleaner. Throughout the event, more than 80 cars came through the drive-thru event. The collective effort filled two large vehicles with essential supplies.
“Because of the support and care of the Life 107.1 family, the families served at Agape feel seen, valued and loved!” said Agape’s executive director, Leanna Simpson. “This is the power of community. This is the power of Christ at work! Thank you for coming out and loving big.”
