KNWI Christmas for the Greatest Generation

KNWI/Des Moines (Life 107.1) delivered 150 Christmas gifts to residents at Valley View Village retirement and long-term care facility. Through an initiative called “Christmas for the Greatest Generation”, gifts and cards were provided. Northern Lights Pizza sponsored the gifts, and Life 107.1 listeners stepped up to write a personal message delivered with each gift.

Stephanie Proper, Executive Director of Valley View Village, said “Everyone is so excited for this. We wanted everyone of our residents to have a gift to open and hold – so this is wonderful.”
