KCVO Names New Program Director

Northwestern Media’s KCVO /Camdenton, MO (Spirit FM) has named Amanda Brooks as Program Director. Amanda will move from Northwestern’s WNWC/Madison (Life 102.5), where she most recently served as morning show co-host and listener engagement director.  

Amanda joined the Life 102.5 team in 2020 as the station’s Morning Show producer. she was promoted to Listener Engagement Director on July 2021. 

“I am so excited to have Amanda join our Spirit FM team,” said Spirit FM station manager Jenn Pooler. “She is overflowing with passion and talent. Her love for the Lord is evident in everything she does. She is going to be such a blessing to our listeners in Missouri.” 

Jenn Pooler is in place as KCVO station manager moving from Northwestern’s KNWS/Waterloo (Life 101.9) where she served as program director. She replaced Jim McDermott, who retired as station manager and president of former owner Lake Area Educational Broadcasting Foundation. NWM acquire the Spirit FM stations in a deal that closed this month.

 Spirit FM is a part of the Northwestern Media network, a ministry of University of Northwestern – St. Paul. Northwestern Media stations broadcast on 104 outlets across 11 states.
