KCMS’ Sarah Taylor Talks With KSBJ’s Morgan
KCMS/Seattle (Spirit 105.3) air personality Sarah Taylor interviewed KSBJ/Houston afternoon co-host Morgan about the extreme winter weather affecting the KSBJ listening area and all of Texas.
Sarah told HisAir, “I felt prompted to do the interview because I think personal stories are the best way to reach our audience. And I wanted to show the similarities between our stations and connect listeners with other listeners :). Plus I just think Morgan is such a talented communicator!”
The interview was posted on the KCMS Facebook page and Spirit website.
As of this afternoon at least 179,316 customers are without power in Texas, according to Poweroutage.us. More than 14.6 million people have been impacted by water disruptions in Texas as of Friday afternoon, according to Tiffany Young, media relations specialist for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
And now after a devastating week of freezing temperatures and winter storms, the state is confronting a new crisis: overwhelmed water systems that could extend misery for much of the population.
While temperatures in the 60s and 70s are expected to provide relief next week, some Texans face another round of record lows Friday night into Saturday morning.
In the interview Morgan talks about how KSBJ has been able to serve its listening audience during the emergency.
