KFNW/Fargo, ND (Life 97.9) has promoted Jeremy Nobles to Program Director. Jeremy has served as the station’s Assistant Program Director since February 2025.

“Jeremy is a blast to work with!” said Jarrett Stevens, Life 97.9 Station Manager. “I look forward with anticipation to what God has in store for Life 97.9 as Jeremy steps into this role. His love for Jesus is evident in everything: family, church, community, and here at Life 97.9. I count it a blessing that he is part of our team in Fargo.”

“Taking a leap of faith, is just that, just another step,” said Jeremy. “The decision my wife and I made to move our family of seven was not an easy one, but we heard God calling us to Fargo the moment we drove past the ‘North Dakota Welcomes You,’ sign. We have found an amazing community and I get to work with some wonderfully talented people here at Life 97.9. My family has adopted a motto ‘We’ll lead with our yes, until God says no.’ We are all in! I’m so happy and thankful for the opportunity to serve the Red River Valley as Program Director.”

Kankakee, IL based Shine.FM welcomes Natasha Nieto to the team as its new Listener Engagement Coordinator.

In this role, Nieto will help strengthen the connection between Shine.FM and the families, churches, and communities the ministry serves. Her responsibilities will focus on creating meaningful opportunities for listeners to engage with Shine.FM beyond the music—building relationships, coordinating community volunteers, and helping connect the ministry with the people who make up the Shine.FM family.

“At Shine.FM, our listeners have always been much more than an audience—they are part of our ministry family,” said Brian McIntyre, Executive Director of Shine.FM. “Natasha brings a heart for people and a desire to build genuine relationships. We’re excited to have her on our team and to see how she will help us listen better, connect more personally, and serve our listeners in new ways.”

Nieto joins Shine.FM as the ministry continues to expand its reach and develop new ways to engage audiences across broadcast, digital, and community platforms.

WayFM has partnered with Eight Days of Hope to launch WayFM’s Disaster Relief Team, powered by Eight Days of Hope, a mobile ministry designed to provide communications, prayer and resources to communities affected by natural disasters. The initiative will be ready to deploy beginning September 7, 2026.

At the center of the initiative is a mobile response vehicle equipped with satellite Wi-Fi and staffed by volunteers who will bring help and hope directly into disaster-affected communities. Serving as a mobile care center, the vehicle will give individuals and families a place to connect with loved ones, access critical information and resources, and receive prayer and encouragement.

The vision for the initiative began after Hurricane Helene, when WayFM’s morning show host Wally volunteered with relief efforts in North Carolina. While serving families affected by the storm, he saw how the loss of internet and cellular service prevented people from contacting loved ones, filing insurance claims, and locating essential supplies and services. That experience inspired the idea for a mobile ministry that could help restore connection while sharing the hope of Jesus.

“No one should ever have to wonder whether their loved ones are safe after a natural disaster. WayFM’s Disaster Relief Vehicle was born from my own experience of being unable to reach my daughter after Hurricane Helene to find out if she was okay. I remember thinking, ‘We’re a communications ministry—let’s use what we know to help reconnect people during the storm after the storm.’ Our partnership with Eight Days of Hope is a perfect fit because we share the same passion: caring for people and sharing the love of Jesus when they need it most,” said Wally, host of WayFM’s The Wally Show.

A Christian online radio station has launched in Bardene, Boksburg, South Africa with plans to reach listeners through faith-based programming and discussions on community and everyday issues.

SONshine FM held its soft launch after the idea for the station was first conceived. According to station spokesperson Tanya Parsons, establishing the station came during a Sunday afternoon in mid-June.

“It was an instruction from God,” she said. She said the station’s rapid development was made possible through the people who came on board to help turn the idea into a functioning platform.

The station is currently available online through its website and app. Listen live at www.SONshinefm.co.za or download the app, and follow them on social media.
