Faith Radio/Tallahassee Operations Director Ken Burns checks in with HisAir in the aftermath of Hurricane Idalia today.
Ken says, “Two of our seven stations are off but we are otherwise unscathed. But lots of trees were downed and it will be a while before all the power outages are restored. Some of the hardest hit areas are within the primary coverage areas of our two stations that are currently off the air.”

Christian Radio stations reporting to be off the air due to Hurricane Idalia according to the FCC’s Disaster Information Reporting System (DIRS) include:
RTN’s WXJX/Tallahassee (Joy FM 97.9), Salem WORL/Orlando (950 The Answer).
The Inside Radio Aug monthly Format Counts report shows religion (including teaching and variety), and CCM as the #2 and #4 respectively, most frequently programmed formats across U.S. radio stations.
The CMB Revenue & Leadership Summit is set for Nov 9-10 in Nashville.
