KTIS/Minneapolis zoomed to double digits pulling a 10.3 in the JUNE Nielsen Audio PPM AQH P 6+ and grabbing the #1 spot for the third month in a row.

KTIS scored its first ever #1 overall ranking in the May 2023 Nielsen PPM. The Northwestern Media station trend over the last 3 months is 8.5-9.5-10.3.

KWND/Springfield (The Wind) celebrates 30 years of ministry today. The team marked the occasion at their annual planning meeting, alongside members of sister station, Southern Gospel KWFC/Springfield. The Wind is owned by Radio Training Network.

KWND began broadcasting on July 12, 1993 from its studios at 2550 S. Campbell Avenue in Springfield, MO. Originally owned by Parkcrest Assembly of God, the station was sold to Radio Training Network in 1995.

KWND Station Manager Kyle Dowden tells HisAir, “We continue to be amazed at the ways God uses this ministry to reach our community. Every listener story of life change demonstrates God’s goodness. We’ve been honored to be an instrument He uses to lead people to Himself.”

KWND began broadcasting in HD radio on January 28, 2020, on 88.3-1 FM. LF Radio was added to 88.3-2 FM on February 3, 2020.

Hope Media Group’s brands KSBJ/Houston, WayFM, Spanish Vida Unida and NGEN Radio will host the “World’s Biggest Baby Shower” (WBBS) for the second consecutive year. WayFM’s edition of WBBS will be July 17 – 31 and KSBJ has scheduled WBBS for July 31 – August 31. Hope Media Group will shower moms in need nationwide with love and essential items such as diapers, formulas, wipes and gift cards donated by our audiences, business partners and anyone who wishes to get involved.

Hope Media Group’s Senior Director of Community Relations, Kim McKee shares, “Last year’s World’s Biggest Baby Shower was a beautiful portrait of God’s love shown through caring people around the nation! Our expectations were exceeded with over 55,000 diapers, 44,976 wipes, 200 cans of formula, and nearly $30,000 in gift cards donated to 40 pregnancy help centers nationwide during the month-long campaign. Many donors took the time to include encouraging notes to the moms who desperately needed these baby items. We’re forever grateful for the pregnancy help centers around the nation who partnered with us and offer support and encouragement to families during some of their most challenging and difficult times.”

The Awakening Foundation, powered by Awakening Events, announces K-LOVE’S Celebrate Christmas Tour featuring Natalie Grant and Danny Gokey with special guest Mac Powell. The 12-city tour will kick off on November 29th through December 17th.
