Kingfisher FM/Port Elizabeth, South Africa will broadcast for at least another seven years. Kingfisher FM received its 7 Year Broadcast License from The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa, an independent regulatory body of the South African government, established in 2000 by the ICASA Act to regulate both the telecommunications and broadcasting sectors in the public interest.
Kingfisher FM has broadcast for 26 years to the community of Nelson Mandela Bay & surrounds.  As far back as October 2020 ICASA announced that only two applicants out of 142 new license applications nationwide had been successful in moving to the second phase of the licensing process.

This weekend on The Singing News Top Twenty Weekly Countdown with Greg Goodman, guest artists include Roland Kesterson of The Inspirations, Josh Jordan of The Jordan Family Band, Jason Clark of The Nelons and Keith Erwin of The Erwins, plus some special Easter content as we celebrate the resurrection!


On the next edition of the Gospel Greats host Rodney Baucom will observe Easter with our Resurrection Celebration. Music will include Endless Highway, Triumphant Quartet, Guy Penrod, David Phelps, Karen Peck and New River, and more.


WLAB/Ft Wayne (Star 88.3) announcers STAR-FEST will take place Sunday July 24th at the Sweetwater Pavilion. STAR-FEST features music, with a festival vibe, free parking, food trucks, a fabulous stage, and more. Artists will include Jonathan Traylor, Blanca, Apollo L.T.D., and I Am They.
