On February 6, Your Network of Praise (YNOP) signed-on a new station KGLE/Glendive, MT (91.9) which will provide the YNOP format to eastern Montana and western North Dakota.

“In 2021, YNOP received KGLE/Glendive, MT (AM590) as a gift…it had been providing Christian radio to the region for 60 years” according to Roger Lonnquist, President of Your Network of Praise. “We wanted to add an FM as soon as possible, and we thank God that we were able to obtain a license and get the new station up and running.”

YNOP operates about 70 stations & translators in 6 western states. It also operates the New Life Africa Satellite Networks, 2 satellite radio channels in Africa that broadcast in French, Swahili, English and Fulani, with local FM affiliates in about 20 African nations.

“KGLE-FM is the first of eleven new full-power FM’s YNOP is adding to the network in 2024” added Lonnquist, “we are grateful for each opportunity to reach more people at a time when Christian radio seems to be needed more than ever all across America.”

Beth Fritzeen joins WKNZ/Milford (The Bridge) as Donor Development Specialist.

A former business owner, Beth brings her entrepreneurial spirit and heart for hospitality to The Bridge development team. She is a graduate of Wheaton College with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.

In her role, Fritzeen partners with Alison Kristunas, the Director of Donor Development, to match resources with ministry opportunities through The Bridge broadcast and community outreach initiatives. 

The Bridge consists of four FM radio stations reaching a population of over 1.5 million people in four states, plus a growing audience via its app and web stream. The stations include 88.7 FM, WKNZ-Harrington, Dover, DE; 92.5 FM, WNKZ-Pocomoke City, Salisbury, MD; 89.3 FM, Bridgeton, Vineland, NJ; and 105.5 FM, Cape May Courthouse, Ocean City, NJ.  The stations exist to be “a voice in the community, connecting people to Jesus and each other, and strengthening their lives.”

This Friday Feb 9th is the deadline for nominations for the 2024 CMB Special Awards. That includes CMB Industry Achievement Award, Community Service Award, and Rich Mullins Artist Impact Award. These awards honor those who are making a meaningful impact. CMB Members have the exclusive benefit of voting on these special awards.

The CMB Awards will be presented on Friday, May 31, at the CMB Awards Dinner during Momentum 2024.

WCVO/Columbus (104.9 The River) announces they are offering their morning show, “Josh, Chad & Hannah” to stations in syndication.
