WBCL Radio Network/Ft Wayne welcomes Amy Sprunger as Morning Show Co-host with Glenn Goodwin and CJ Steager, weekdays 6 AM to 10AM on WBCL’s network of 10 frequencies in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. Amy was previously a DJ with WBCL in the 90’s. WBCL is also adding a weekend host, Steve Hocker, to Saturday and Sunday Mornings 8a-Noon! Steve is a seasoned professional who served for many years on air with Moody Radio in Indianapolis.
Program Director, Glenn Goodwin says, “We’re incredibly excited to welcome Amy Sprunger back to the WBCL team after being on weekends many years ago. Amy brings 15 years of radio experience, a genuine connection with our listeners, and deep roots in the Fort Wayne community. Her 25 years of experience building her own photography business have also given her a unique perspective and an incredible connection to the people and stories that make this community special.
WBCL also welcomes Steve Hocker to Weekend Mornings. Steve brings a tremendous amount of radio experience to the team, including many years hosting mornings on the Moody Radio station in Indianapolis before that station transitioned to a network morning show. His experience, heart for ministry, and passion for connecting with listeners make him a great fit for WBCL.
Following more than three years of dedicated advocacy, NRB applauds the U.S. House of Representatives for overwhelmingly passing the AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act (H.R. 979). This marks a major milestone as the first time either chamber of Congress has passed the legislation, proving once again its strong bipartisan support.
The measure’s decisive, bipartisan vote in the House sends a clear message to the Senate, which must now pass the identical text before the bill reaches the president’s desk.
President Trump has previously expressed public support for the legislation, stating at the NRB 2024 International Christian Media Convention: “I will protect the content that is pro-God. To that end, at the request of the NRB, I will do my part to protect AM radio in our cars.”
“For Christian communicators, this vote stands as a major victory for radio and free broadcast distribution as a whole,” said Troy A. Miller, NRB president & CEO.

Josh joined the station as Morning Show Host/ Director of Outreach in February 2020. Josh has not revealed his future plans.

Heartbeat Christian News has announced the launch of Heartbeat Christian Radio, a new 24/7 online Christian radio station featuring gospel music, the King James Audio Bible, preaching, Bible teaching and original Christian programming.
After several years in the mainstream music world, Independant Canadian Christian singer Daniel Richter is excited to use his gift to sing about Jesus.
“I had a band called Eleven Past One and we had a lot of mainstream radio and television success,” Richter says.
After leading worship for a few years, Richter says God spoke to him. “He told me that I should start making music for Him and singing about what He’s done for me.”
After a year of sharing his faith through music, Richter says it’s been great. “There’s been great feedback and I’m super excited to be used with my music for the Lord.”
