KTIS/Minneapolis slips in the July PPM KTIS 11.4-9.3 AQH Share for Persons 6+, Mon-Sun 6AM-Mid but hangs on to #1 for the 7th month in a row.
KTSR/DeQuincy, LA – Lake Charles, LA (Power 92.1) has flipped to CCM. The Townsquare Media station was previously Urban (Magic 92.1) and will air the full schedule of air talent on Today’s Christian Music from Salem Media.
KTSR is a Class C3 13.5kw @ 448 ft. Program Director is Mike Soileau. Station website is HERE.
Following the sale of KKSP/Little Rock (93.3 The Fish) PD morning host Steve Marston says he’ll remain with Salem as Operations Manager.
Salem’s Little Rock stations KDIS (Faith Talk 99.5), KDXE (101.1 The Answer), and KZTS (Rejoice 1380) were not included in the deal with Encouragement Media Group.

WRVL/Lynchburg (The Journey) wrapped up it’s Teacher Appreciation Drive on August 3rd by handing out bags of supplies to teachers. In a partnership with the Mardel Christian and Education Store in Lynchburg, listeners donated approximately 780 individual items during July. A collection bin was located just inside the store where the supplies could be dropped off prior to being sorted and placed in the gift bags. Notebooks, poster board, sanitary wipes, and markers were among the items handed out to teachers.
Journey Promotions Coordinator Deborah Poole said the drive truly represents a community effort, “It’s an honor to be part of supporting our teachers who give so much to our children in this community.”
This was the third annual Teacher Appreciation Drive as part of the station’s outreach efforts.
The National Association of Gospel Radio (NAGR) announce a partnership with ImpactU, a personal and professional development program. This collaboration aims to empower NAGR affiliates with advanced professional development and innovative revenue development strategies.
As part of this partnership, ImpactU is providing $1 million in soft skills training scholarships for NAGR to distribute to its members and affiliate stations all over the United States. This substantial investment underscores ImpactU’s commitment to fostering growth and excellence within the gospel radio community. NAGR will be distributing the scholarships to Title One Schools in the areas served by its affiliated stations; which will raise awareness for the need to combat emotional deficiencies plaguing youth throughout the United States.

Former KFNW/Fargo (Life 97.9) morning co-host Teresa Lewis has passed. Lewis was with KFNC from 2014-2018. Most recently she was an Executive Leadership Coach for Eide Bailly, a motivational speaker, author and mindset coach. Lewis was 55.
