Christian Radio host Brant Hansen’s work was recently featured on The 700 Club.

In addition to being America’s most-loved Christian radio host (according to Christian Voice Magazine), Brant has now written several bestselling books. The 700 Club wanted to talk with Brant about masculinity, the church, and our culture, all centered on Brant’s book The (Young) Men We Need.

You can watch the segment HERE.

Brant jokes that while he loves talking about these issues, “Every time I’m on TV I remember how much I enjoy radio and not being seen.”

KAXL/Bakersfield (Life FM) PD Matt Pelishek is joining the team at Amlin Media Group as a talent coach. Matt will continue at KAXL and will be using his free time to build into people and help them grow in their craft as an on-air talent and content creator.

AMG Founder Todd Amlin tells HisAir, “I’ve gotten to know Matt really well over the years as we’ve attended a number of industry events together, and I can say without question that he’s one of the most talented people in radio. I love listening to him both on-air, on podcasts, and getting to talk with him in person. He really gets it, and yet, he’s one of the most humble people you’ll ever meet. One of the things I love about his approach is that he’s not trying to be a radio caricature. He’s just himself, which I believe has allowed him to build trust with his listeners. By building that trust, he now has the freedom to engage with them in a variety of ways, not just the narrow lens of some fictitious “center of the bullseye suburban soccer mom”.

Matt says, “I was never great at coloring inside the lines, and have always been more interested in how going outside the lines can create a more interesting and unique picture. My goal isn’t to reign anyone into the old “radio standard”, but to help you create something that only YOU can create, and build strong relationships with your audience. A lot of our industry wants to teach you the “rules” of radio to create experts, I’d rather focus on how to break them to create artists. NOW is the time to step outside the box.”

If you’d like more info about how to connect with Matt and take your on-air talent to the next level, contact Todd Amlin at 614-325-8900.
