At WFSH/Atlanta (104.7 The Fish) Griffin Adkins is being promoted to Assistant PD adding those duties to his other role as Kevin and Taylor’s morning show producer. Griffin has been with the Fish since 2005, as a senior in high school, then from intern to promotions assistant to production assistant then in May 2011, Griffin joined The Kevin & Taylor Show as their producer.
Griffin told HisAir today, “I’m honored and grateful that Dave Santrella, Allen Power, Val Carolin and Mike Blakemore are entrusting me with this opportunity. The Fish Atlanta is a special place. I started here when I was a senior in high school and it’s where I eventually met my wife. I’m excited to learn from Mike and help him take the station to even higher levels.”
Griffin also hosts a weekly podcast, The Good News Countdown.

The Mark Trammell Quartet has announced the resignation of bass vocalist Randy Byrd. Randy is dealing with some health issues which will require further testing. He also is scheduled for surgery in the next few weeks, and he and his parents are battling covid. Mark Trammell refers to Randy as one of his best friends and says it is a very bittersweet time for the group.
The Family Radio Network/Appleton, WI 2022 “Help for the Homeless” hygiene drive received a record-breaking $527,000 worth of donated hygiene and cleaning supplies this spring from more than 760 local businesses, churches and schools for 96 crisis agencies in 19 of their listening communities. The drive annually provides for approximately 70,000 people. Since 1992, “Help for the Homeless” donations have provided more than $4.8 million dollars’ worth of hygiene supplies to local Wisconsin crisis programs and those they serve. Donations remain in the communities where they are collected. The goal of “Help for the Homeless” is to supply a year’s worth of products to each agency.
