KPAR/Dickinson, ND  (103.7 The Connection)  announces the  success of its inaugural Caring Hearts Project. The initiative, aimed at spreading love and encouragement throughout the community, surpassed all expectations, leaving a profound impact on both recipients and participants alike.

Heidi Larson, General Manager of 103.7 The Connection, expressed her gratitude, stating, “We are floored by the response from our community! What a blessing to be a part of what God is doing through this ministry. Our hope is that the recipients felt loved this Valentine’s Day!”

In its first year, the Caring Hearts project set out with the ambitious goal of collecting 500 cards. However, the community’s overwhelming generosity resulted in the collection of over 1,300 heartfelt messages. Individuals of all ages, from students at Hope Christian Academy, Trinity Elementary North, Lincoln Elementary, and Dickinson Middle School, to members of Sunday School and Awana Clubs from local churches such as Calvary Chapel, Evangelical Bible Church, Hillside Baptist, and Our Saviour’s Lutheran, participated in spreading love and kindness.

Every resident in care facilities across Dickinson, Killdeer, and Richardton received two cards, brightening their Valentine’s Day and lifting their spirits. Reflecting on the project’s success, Larson shared her hopes for the future, stating, “Our hope for next year is to expand beyond care facilities to other areas, such as Veterans or the Domestic Violence Center. This is an example of how 103.7 The Connection connects our community to Christ!”
