Remember these stations having fall fundraisers this week.. Passion Radio Network/Farmington, NM .. WIHS/Middletown, CT .. Spirit FM/Camdenton, MO.. 


WayFM will launch a new signal in Birmingham on 99.1 W256CD Fultondale, AL. Way Media announced the $350k purchase from Red Mountain Ventures in June this year.


NGEN Radio signed off KHV91.7 FM yesterday. Making way for the new format Vida Unida to debut tomorrow morning at 6am. Promos & sweepers are airing on 91.7 FM directing instructing listeners on how they can continue hearing NGEN. 

Hope Media Group announced in September KXNG/Houston (NGEN Radio) would transition from the 91.7 FM signal to focus exclusively on digital distribution.


Northwestern Media staff members accompanied OneChild National Director of Radio and Artist Engagement Faron Dice on a trip to Honduras last week.  

Northwestern Media and OneChild announced a multi-year partnership designed to connect listeners to children living in extreme poverty around the world in Aug this year. 

Northwestern Media Senior VP of Media, Jason Sharp, and twelve station air talent team members recently traveled to Tegucigalpa, Honduras to experience what life is like for a child living in extreme poverty, and to visit OneChild Hope Centers that are making a difference.

“This was such an incredible trip and such an incredible team,” says Faron Dice, National Director of Radio and Artist Engagement. “They were passionate about learning and engaging with children and our child champions who serve the children.  I was so impressed by how hard they worked to collect audio and video and stories for our upcoming radio campaign, but also how much fun they had, every step of the journey.”

This weekend on The Singing News Top 20 Weekly Countdown guest artists include Clayton Inman of Triumphant Quartet, Levi Mills of The Sound, Jeff Treece of Sunday Drive, Keith Erwin of The Erwins, Jay Parrack of The LeFevre Quartet, Susan Peck Jackson of Karen Peck and New River and Scott Brand of The Perrys PLUS classic #1 songs from Triumphant Quartet from November 2011 and The Perrys from November 1998.


Former Christian broadcaster Chris Lash (at left) has passed away in Nashville after a lengthy bout with sepsis that came from a recent infection. Lash started in Christian radio in Erie, PA in 1978 at WCTL, on air and programming in Erie, PA, Pittsburgh, Dayton, Daytona Beach, Nashville, He owned and started his first Christian Stations in 2003 Christian Hit Radio 103.7 The Switch in Indiana, PA, and 96.7 The Switch in Zephyrhills, Florida. General Manager of several stations. In 2018 he launched WERF LP/Gainesville, FL (Next FM).
