KDUV/Vidalia (Spirit Radio) introduces an updated on-air lineup designed to encourage, uplift, and connect with listeners across the Central Valley. 

Program Director Chad Bradley joins longtime host Tara Hiester for Mornings with Chad & Tara, airing 6-10am. Together, the duo brings laughter, faith-filled conversation, and engaging content to start the day. The show features fun segments like “Breaking History News” and the listener favorite, “For the Kids!”, creating a space where kids can feel encouraged and informed before heading into their day. 

Also, Marina Rojas as the new host of middays. Marina previously hosted weekend programming and now steps into Middays with Marina, airing 10-2pm. 

“I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity to serve as the Midday Host,” said Rojas. “Spirit Radio has been on my dial since I was 12 years old, and seeing God bring my career to this moment is truly humbling. I’m looking forward to connecting more deeply with our listeners, artists, and the community we serve.”

WCVO/Columbus (The River) PD Josh Hooper checks in with HisAir. Josh says WCVO won “Favorite Local Radio Station” in the Columbus Dispatch 2025 CBUS Top Picks Community’s Choice Awards.

Hooper told HisAir, “We are grateful Jesus continues to use this ministry to shine His light! And we are thankful for the continued support of The River family of listeners, donors and voters! What a thrill to be named the top radio station in Columbus!”

WCVO came out on top against stiff competition from iHeart Radio’s WNCI/Columbus (Top 40) and WCOL/Columbus (Country).

UK Christian journalist and broadcaster Peter Meadows has passed away. Meadows, who was 84, passed away from cancer on Friday, Jan. 9. He helped shape the landscape of the British Church through the founding of Spring Harvest, Buzz magazine (later renamed Premier Christianity), and Premier Christian Radio.

Reflecting on his own life recently, Meadows remained modest: “God is more interested in what we become than what we achieve. If I was remembered for being humble and kind that would do nicely.”

Gregg says, “I officially retired from radio after more than 30 years on the Singing News Radio Network (23 years on the morning show). I never even considered getting back into it until just about a month ago, Real Southern Gospel Radio offered me a deal I just couldn’t turn down!
