Hurricane Helene is bearing down and tracking to be a Category 3 storm with a direct hit on the Florida Gulf Coast near Tallahassee. However, this storm is huge, and could impact nearly the entire Western coastline of Florida with wind and storm surge reaching as high as 18′. Even Georgia is preparing for possible historic flooding. Convoy of Hope would welcome the opportunity to partner with your station to serve survivors and bring hope to those in need.
Convoy brings HOPE in every storm.

RTN’s Bill Harrier tells HisAir, “The JOY FM started (Sharathon) at 4PM on Monday to get ahead of the storm rather than the planned 6AM (ET) on Tuesday. Then went all day Tuesday, and then suspended for “Sharathon Paused for Weather Delay” at 2PM on Wednesday. During those 46 hours, the listeners really got behind the Sharathon and 71% came in. The decision is still to come as to when we will resume for the other 29%.”
