At KSOS/Las Vegas (SOS Radio) Larry Nowak joins the station as it’s new Community Engagement Director.

On his new role at SOS Radio Larry says, “Serving the Lord, playing around with music, and seeking out ministries who we can partner with isn’t a career, its a dream to me. Every minute I am His hands and feet in this role I count as a blessing. After wrapping up a recent water bottle drive for Salvation Army, we launched directly into a partnership with a ministry serving our local school district with volunteers; and we’re just getting started!  Excellence in our community and Glory to God is what our listeners and supporters can expect from the SOS Radio Community Engagement Director.”


At KWND/Springfield (The Wind) KWFC Atlee Wolfard fills the “First Impressions / On Air” opening. He will also fill the overnight on air slot.

KWND Station manager Kyle Dowden says, “Atlee graduated last fall from College of the Ozarks. He is the second recent hire for our team from that college.”


KKEQ/Grand Forks (Your QFM) was voted top radio station in Community Votes! Plus Josh & Yvonne’s morning show “Waking UP With The Joneses” was also voted top show.

The second round ballot for the 54th Annual GMA Dove Awards is OPEN now through Thursday, August 24 at 8:00pm CT. Results of this ballot will determine the 2023 Dove winners.


Barb Cook is the new Office Coordinator at WKJA/Barberton, OH (Heartfelt Radio) Barb attended and graduated from Central Christian High School and, later, earned an English Education degree from Eastern Mennonite University. For many years, she honed-in on her typing skills by doing Medical Transcription for Dunlap Hospital and then later for Aultman Hospital. There, she typed medical reports and learned medical terminology.


WBDX/Chattanooga (J103) welcomes new Promotions Director Jess Blaylock. This is her first job in Christian Radio. 

Jess tells HisAir,I have always wanted to do something “bigger than me”, something with more meaning. God opened this door for me and I am so thankful he did. The team here has been so welcoming and I really feel at home. I’m very excited to start this journey and learn what God can do through me and this ministry.”

Former Promotion director Kaitlin Redden has exited the station for a position with the local school system.


Former Southern Gospel group Triumphant Quartet member Scotty Inman announced today he will embark on a solo career and will join the Daywind Records roster of artists.

Recently Inman said departed Triumphant Quartet after over 20 years with the group. 


Former KTIS/Minneapolis APD Tony Mansmith Checks in with HisAir. Tony says, “I’m exploring opportunities beyond radio, including podcasting, audio production, content strategy, social media management, and digital media planning.
