Educational Media Foundation (EMF) has agreed to purchase an AM/FM combo WPPY/Starview, PA (92.7) and WGET/Gettysburg, PA (1300 AM) from Forever Media for a total of $435,000. The deal includes translator W229DK (93.7 FM) in Gettysburg.
San Antonio Worship Center has closed on KAML/Kenedy-Karnes City, TX (990 AM)
American Christian Radio closed on KPVL/Postville, IA (89.1) from Community Public Media.
Educational Media Foundation closed on the $200,000 buy KSDW/Temecula, CA (88.9) a Spanish religious “Radio Nueva Vida” affiliate from Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa.
Bott Communications closed on it’s $200,000 purchase of KUYO/0Evansville, WY (830) from Wyoming Christian Broadcasting.
Vision Christian Radio/Queensland launched a new station in Paynesville, Victoria, 87.6 went to air on 26th March, 2025.
The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) will accept nominations for the 2025 NAB Marconi Radio Awards until May 31. The Marconi Radio Awards recognize overall excellence and performance in radio. Winners will be announced Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025.

Paul Anthony (Schmitz) has resigned his position at WAY-FM after nearly 15 years with the organization. From 2005-2013, Anthony was the general manager of WAY-FM’s Wichita station and in 2013 he transitioned to becoming the ministry’s first regional major donor representative and relocated to Nashville.
He leaves WAY FM to become Executive Director of ShowerUp. In 2016, he started the non-profit, ShowerUp, which provides mobile showers and personal care to those experiencing homelessness. (www.showerup.org) Since its launch, ShowerUp has provided over 6,000 showers, 10,000 hygiene kits, 5,000 pairs of socks, 2500 sleeping bags, hundreds of tents and more for those who live on the streets. Now with 4 mobile shower units in Nashville, ShowerUp has started their affiliate program this year. In addition to serving the homeless community in Nashville, ShowerUp Huntsville launches today with its first event.
