WKNZ/Milford (The Bridge) GM/mornings Bill Sammons had a great idea for St Patricks Day. Ireland born and raised Darren Mulligan of Curb Word artists We Are Messengers voiced imaging on The Bridge today.

Sammons told HisAir, “Darren is doing all our Legal ID’s and some of the station imaging between songs all day today.”

EMF announces Todd Woods as its chief legal officer. Woods comes to EMF after serving as Nissan North America, Inc.’s vice president, general counsel and secretary and Lowe’s Companies, Inc.’s senior vice president, deputy general counsel and assistant secretary.

“It’s a time of exciting and positive change for EMF as it relocates from California to the Nashville area, plus as it expands new distribution platforms to include podcasts, film, books and more,” Woods said. “I believe my experience with global corporations that also expanded their scope has prepared me to benefit EMF.”

In addition to owning and operating more than 1,000 radio signals through (K-LOVE and Air1), Educational Media Foundation is the parent company of the AccessMore podcast platform, WTA Media, K-LOVE Films and K-LOVE Books (an imprint of EMF Publishing).

“In Todd Woods, EMF gains a senior colleague who shares our faith and mission, understands the needs of a growing family of companies and is deeply experienced in helping teams navigate transition and compliance,” said EMF CEO Bill Reeves. “We are blessed to have him.”


TWR’s team serving in Ukraine is providing constant updates. God’s people are faithfully relying on Him, and while some have made it out of the country, others remain in Ukraine. Thank The Lord TWR studios in both Kyiv and Kharkiv are still standing and that everyone is currently safe.

WWIL/Wilmington (Life 90.5) celebrates 29 years on the air this week. Founder by Jim Stephens (now retired) in 1993, he was the first and only employee when the stationed signed on that year. 

Through a series of miraculous events, God opened the door for Jim to buy 1490 AM in Wilmington, NC in 1992.  Jim says, “It was an off the air station that my wife and I were able to resurrect and we signed on in March, 1993 bringing a contemporary Christian music and teaching station to the Wilmington area.  


NRB2022 wrapped up last Friday as 3400+ conference-goers descended on the Gaylord Opryland for four days of networking, learning, broadcasting, interviewing, forging friendships, and much more. HisAir was happy to be an exhibitor again this year! NRB2023 is scheduled for May 21-25, 2023 at the Orlando World Center Marriott.
