KVDT/Dallas (103.3) Your Christian Voice for Dallas, TX signed on the air Wednesday, March 9th, joining the VCY America Network.

VCY broadcasts Biblical teaching, Sacred Music, Informative News, as well as Radio drama for the young and young at heart.

KVDT, ESPN 103.3 is 98 kw with a nearly 2,000 ft tower covering the Metroplex. Disney sold the signal to VCY America in December. The evangelical Christian ministry owns and operates 31 stations across the country.


KJZY/Santa Rosa, CA formerly mainstream top 40 (The Beat 106.3 FM) has switched to Air1 programming.

“We’re basically leasing the frequency to the Educational Media Foundation, based in Rocklin, near Sacramento,” said Gordon Zlot, president and general manager of Redwood Empire Stereocasters, which owns KJZY.

Educational Media Foundation (EMF) operates the nation’s two largest Christian music radio networks, K-LOVE and Air1, with over 1,000 broadcast signals across all 50 states and audio streaming worldwide.

“The 1,000 signals include several formats, including full-power stations, HD (High Definition) stations and FM translators,” said Joe Miller, vice-president of signal development for EMF. “K-LOVE is on approximately 250 full power stations with FM translators on top of that.”

The NAB announced its moving the Marconi Radio awards. The Marconi Awards will take place during a special dinner program at NAB Show New York on Oct. 19, 2022, at the Javits Center. The NAB Marconi Radio Awards honor radio stations and on-air personalities for excellence in radio broadcasting, 


At NRB 2022 WMIT/Asheville, NC (106.9 The Light) was awarded the 2022 NRB Radio Station of the Year.


Also at NRB 2022 WNWC/Madison (Life 102.5) afternoon personality Summer Shepherd is the winner of the Spark Media 2022 “Best Society & Culture Podcast Award.” Her winning podcast is titled “No Seriously, How Do I Do This.’


KBIQ/Colorado Springs (Q102.7) morning co host Hannah Horton has joined Salem’s Todays Christian Music” as a syndicated host.
