WPOS/Holland (Proclaim FM) ended its year end fundraiser 8 hours early today, above being fully funded.
Salem Media Group announced today that Tom Moyer, General Manager of Salem Media Group’s cluster of stations in Washington, D.C. will retire at the end of the year. Tom is a 30-year veteran of the Salem DC management team, playing a major role in the growth and development of the cluster.
Salem Media Group Chief Executive Officer Dave Santrella commented, “Our cluster of stations in Washington DC, and particularly WAVA-FM, are crown jewels in Salem’s portfolio of stations. Tom Moyer has been a tremendous leader for us, holding fast to the principles that have guided our company and allowing these stations to be glimmering examples of what a Salem radio station should be in any community. We will miss him and wish him great success in the next chapter.”
Moyer commented, “I’m very grateful for my time at Salem. For my wife Sharon and me Salem has been such an important part of our lives for 30 years. There is certainly a sadness in my heart in moving on, but I have confidence that the timing is right.”
Salem Media Group Senior Vice President Allen Power also commented, “It is not an overstatement to say Tom Moyer has been a part of the very fiber of our DC cluster over the past 30 years. Replacing a longtime leader like Tom is no small task so we considered all the stakeholders of Salem Media DC in deciding on a succession plan.”
StowTown Records Donna King is leaving the promotions dept at the end of the year.
Donna tells HisAir, “This past 14 months has been an HONOR. I LOVE this label. I feel like we have done some incredible work in this past year but that the time for me to return to touring and songwriting FULL-TIME again has come. The label is very supportive of my decision. As an artist on this label, I could not be more proud of the HEART of what we do and I will continue to be a CHEERLEADER in making music, along with my label mates, that reaches hearts for JESUS.”
Replacing Donna is Kim Hudgins who will officially begin on January 1, 2023.

The Moneyball Chart is posted…
While Colton and Katy maintain their top spots respectively, there is still some notable forward movement in these last few weeks before our format becomes trampled by holiday songs.
Typically, Christmas break highlights the songs that have great depth, and begins shining light on the ones that will breakthrough come December 26th.
This week, Elevation, Lampa and MercyMe show the strength to get the nod for strongest three songs on the move, but not to be outdone or overshadowed by them, is one many have missed, but that the few who have supported have seen does well in research and quickly and that is Gratitude from Brandon Lake.
For King & Country and CeCe’s Goodness of God thrive in the Top 10.
