WKNZ/Milford (The Bridge) has announced the hiring of Nessa Fee as its new Community Engagement Specialist based in South Jersey. Nessa was born and raised in southern California. There she worked in the emergency room for fifteen years, pursuing voice-over acting in her free time. After losing everything -but her faith- in a house fire, she loaded up her car, and six pets, and drove cross-country. She and her husband now call Millville, New Jersey home. Their family motto is: “We are on tour for the Lord, and go wherever He calls.”

Nessa has served her community working for the Philadelphia Department of Public Health, connecting residents with resources. Now, as a Community Engagement Specialist, she connects listeners in South Jersey with their favorite Christian Radio station – The Bridge. In addition to broadcasts and podcasts, The Bridge also serves Delmarva, South Jersey and beyond with a variety of projects. Fee joins Ben Sorrells, Director of Community Engagement and Mandy Wallace, Community Engagement Specialist. The two are excited to have a dedicated member of The Bridge team to serve listeners at events in South Jersey.

Family Life Ministries, Inc. (NY/PA) just wrapped up a 3-week radio campaign with Bible League International to send Bibles to parts of Asia for new believers in Christ who because of economic conditions, oppression, or both do not have access to God’s word. The goal was to raise enough funds to ship 2,000 Bibles overseas. Thanks to the Lord speaking to the hearts of listeners more than 6,100 Bibles have now been contributed toward this important outreach effort. More than triple the stations goal.

Family Life’s Director of Radio Operations, Dave Margalotti said, “our on-air team did an amazing job and the team at Bible League is incredible to work with. Our listeners are clearly passionate about delivering the truth of God’s word to our Asian brothers and sister in Jesus. But we all know the One who deserves all the credit and all the praise. To God Be the Glory”!

Christian radio host Dave Ramsey is currently facing a massive lawsuit of $150 million filed by 17 listeners. These individuals allege that Ramsey played a significant role in their fraudulent treatment by promoting a timeshare exit company. The lawsuit, filed in April against Ramsey and marketing firm Happy Hour Media Group in the Western Washington District Court, claims that the radio host prioritized the financial gains of promoting Timeshare Exit over the well-being of his listeners.

According to the lawsuit, Ramsey allegedly received millions in compensation for advertising the timeshare exit company, specifically operated by Red Hine & Associates based in Kirkland, Washington. Lawyers involved in the case assert that Ramsey received a monthly payment of $450,000 from Red Hine for his services, ultimately totaling $30 million.

Singer/Songwriter Rachael Lampa was awarded her first K-LOVE Fan Award for her song “Perfectly Loved” ft. TobyMac for the “Breakout Single” category. The fan-voted awards were taped at the iconic OPRY house on May 28th and aired on TBN on June 2nd. Lampa also performed her award-winning song at the awards and was nominated for three total categories. “Perfectly Loved” was co-written with Andrew Ripp and Ethan Hulse and released on Holly Street Records. It was promoted by Boxer Poet / Chris Hauser.

“This has been such a sweet and healing season in so many ways,” shares Rachael Lampa after winning. “Being able to share who God is to me and for it to resonate with others is so redeeming of the past 10+ years of not doing music.
