Fundraisers this week at WCSG/Grand Rapids
Stephens Media Group has launched a new CCM (Hot AC) on KALE/Richland, WA. The signal covers the Tri-Cities market of Washington (Kennewick and Pasco) markets. The station (106.1 The Bridge) is on the KALE-AM (960) translator. Website is HERE.
“Our goal is to infuse hope and encouragement into your day with a fresh and relevant sound,” 106.1 The Bridge PD Jeremiah Richardson told HisAir.
KALE FM was formerly Mainstream AC “More FM.” Stephens Media has flipped its KKSR/Walla Walla, WA (95.7 The Bridge) to Classic Hits.
Worship FM/Augusta, ME has rebranded as Christian Hot AC Reach FM as of 6am this morning. Ryan Gagne is serving as programming consultant and will host mornings on Reach FM. The network includes Maine stations in Augusta (95.3), Portland (91.3), Brunswick (94.7), and Bowdoin (88.1). Owner Light of Life Ministries put Worship FM on the air 1998.
For Gagne its a return to the Maine airwaves, he was with Worship FM for 13 years.
Ryan’s role at WYQQ/Worcester (Q90.1) remains the same with him as PD/mornings. Reach FM website is HERE.
Former FamilyLife Today Co-Host Bob Lepine is doing wake up duties on the Family Radio coast to coast morning show this summer as the network conducts a nationwide search for a new morning show. Lepine retired from FamilyLife in May 2021. Former Family Radio morning host Jim Smith has exited.

At Kinship Radio/Mankato, MN Beth Crosby is now Program Director. Beth returned to Kinship Christian Radio in 2005 as a program host and was a PT voice tracker for 13 years, went to full-time middays in 2020 and has been promoted me to PD. She is currently the host of the One O’Clock Hour, Wings of Worship and Kinship Word in Song, each aired weekdays on the radio network.
With the internal restructuring Kinship Radio has discontinued its search for an Operations Manager and decided to drop the position instead.
Moody Radio Florida has hired Marc Durkin as the new Morning Show Producer/Listener Engagement Coordinator.
Moody Radio/Florida Station Manager Andrew Leuthold says, “Marc’s from the Minneapolis area but is in the process of moving to Florida. He’s been working in other areas for the past few years, but we’re looking forward to adding him to our team.”

KNDR/Mandan, ND (104.7 FM) will celebrate 45 years of broadcasting on Tuesday.
The station went on the air in 1977, broadcasting 18 hours a day, reaching people in a 40-mile radius. The studio built at the base of Crying Hill was expanded in 1995 courtesy of an estate gift. The translators came in 2005 and 2007. KNDR employs seven, and two of those staff have been with the station since 1977.
