After 48 years of faithful service to KHCB/Houston, Bruce Munsterman has stepped down from his leadership role as President Emeritus with the KHCB Media Group. March 1, 2026 marked his final day in his official capacity.
Bruce served the ministry for nearly five decades, including more than 32 years as President. During his tenure, KHCB experienced significant growth, which includes expanding its broadcast reach, strengthening Bible-centered programming, and deepening its impact across Houston and beyond. Through seasons of change in media and culture, Bruce’s steady leadership helped position KHCB as a trusted source of biblical teaching and Christ-centered encouragement.
“Bruce’s faithfulness to the Lord and to this ministry family has left an imprint that will last for generations,” said current President Scott Krus. “We are deeply grateful for the way God has used him to build, strengthen, and shepherd KHCB.”
Bruce is transitioning into a new season of life and ministry, which includes spending time serving alongside his family. While this marks the close of a remarkable chapter in KHCB’s history, his legacy of Christ-centered leadership will live on and continue to impact the ministry’s future.
