The Sound of Life (Radio Network) GM Connie VanKleeck announces the addition of Coreen Sanchez to the staff. Coreen has filled the position of Community Engagement Coordinator and in her role will organize events, connect through the network’s social media and maintain relationships with ministry partners.
Connie tells HisAir, “We’re so glad to have her on board!”
The Sound of Life includes 12 frequencies covering most of the Hudson Valley, Capital Region and southern Adirondacks of New York.
WFSH/Atlanta (104.7 The Fish) announces their new mid-day host is Kim Fitz. Most recently Kim has done weather/traffic/weekends on WFSH. Kim has been in radio 21 years and replaces Parks Stamper who retired recently.
Kim’s bio says, “She started working in radio right out of high school in 2001. She has worked at other local stations until God guided her to The Fish. In 2013 she heard a live broadcast one afternoon on her way home. Beth Bacall stated The Fish Program Director Mike Blakemore was present, she did an immediate U Turn (carefully) and walked in handing him her information. Months later she began working at The Fish.”
WCFT-LP/Dover, NJ (Crossway Radio) Executive Director/General Manager Robert Taylor tells HisAir the group was just awarded a new frequency. The new frequency at 89.1 and will cover areas of western New Jersey, including the towns of Washington, & Rouge New Jersey, and areas of Pennsylvania’s North Lehigh Valley. Crossway Radio is operated by Calvary Chapel Morris Hills.

Top Southern Gospel Radio is a non-profit Radio ministry featuring top Southern Gospel from yesterday and today, Bible teaching, artist interviews, humor and Top programming like Gospel Radio Favorites, Gaither Homecoming Radio, Dr. J. Vernon McGee.

WNPQ/Canton (95.9 The Light) makes the switch to KLOVE programming today. Jan Markowitz hosted her last local morning show today. In November 2021 EMF announced the purchase of WNPQ from Tuscarawas Broadcasting Co. for 850k. WNPQ is a Class A 4100 kw and will be EMF’s 20th station in Ohio.
Congratulations to Brant Hansen who is called “Christian Music’s Most Beloved Radio Personality” on the cover of the March edition of Christian Voice magazine.
HisAir is saddened to report Harvey Thomas CBE, former Billy Graham Crusade Director, passed away on March 13th, 2022.
