ChristianFM Media/SmartRadio Suite announce new affiliate KHRT/Minot, ND (KHeart 106.9) owned by Faith Broadcasting Inc.

KHRT has always been known for its connection to the community and local coverage has added The Brant Hansen Show, Lisa Barry, Doug Hannah, Andy Youso, Dave Moore, Theresa Ross, and more. This new endeavor aims to provide a positive, encouraging and uplifting listening experience for the community, inspiring hope and faith.

At WMIT/Asheville (The Light FM) Jeff Taylor is added as a permanent co-host to the morning show with Carol Davis. Jeff has been appearing on the morning show since last year and now will be on The Light FM Morning Show every day. Jeff has been a part of the stations donor ministry team since 2013.

During the month of Feb KSOS/Las Vegas (SOS Radio) is sharing God’s love with kids in local hospitals. SOS Radio calls it “Art from the Heart” and is taking “cards for kids” to the next level, accepting Art Supply Donations for kids in local hospitals as well as cards.

SOS Radio Community Engagement Director Larry Nowak tells HisAir, “We learned that art time is some of the best therapy the kids can do with their families as well.  Additionally, we had some pre-made cards added to the website, for people to download, print and color for these kiddos as well. We have been accepting donations for a week and have already received over 100 cards, 2,500 crayons, 162 glue sticks and 31 pounds of construction paper – not to mention various other art kits, painting supplies, thousands of beads, etc. ….AND, we are accepting through Feb. 16.”

The 66th Annual GRAMMY AWARDS were held in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday evening.  Southern gospel is represented by the “Roots Gospel” Category.  The nominees were:

And the winner, The Blind Boys Of Alabama – Echoes Of The South

KPAR/Dickinson, ND (103.7 The Connection) has clinched the top spot in the annual Best of the Western Edge Readers’ Choice Contest by The Dickinson Press. The contest, designed to showcase the very best of southwest ND, attracted an impressive participation of 6,710 individuals who submitted an astounding 56,198 nominations. The community cast an impressive 92,928 votes, culminating in the recognition of 259 winners across various categories.

KPAR GM Heidi Larson expressed deep gratitude, saying, “We are honored and humbled to be voted Best Radio Station! As a growing radio station, it is amazing to see what God has done and continues to do in the Dickinson area. What a blessing to be a part of it.”

KPAR was founded in 2018.

HisAir FLASHBACK – Feb 5, 2018 – Joy Summers is getting a new co-host on the afternoon shift at WAY FM. CJ & Joy debuted Monday 2/5.  CJ (Lusk) replaces Carlos Aguiar who exited last November to join the KSBJ/Afternoon Show as co-host with Morgan Smith. WAY FM posted a FB video here introducing the new co-host. CJ was most previously at Country station WKHX/Atlanta (Kicks 101.5) and KBFF/Portland.
