HisAir Media will be at NRB 2024 this week in Nashville at HisAir Booth #735 on the exhibit hall floor. We’ll have some HisAir swag to give out so make sure to come by!

The NRB Exhibit Hall is a one-stop shop for media and ministry solutions with 40,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space with 200+ vendors presenting products and services tailored to the needs of Christian media professionals.

We’ll be there Wed-Fri to meet you in person. And we’ll be doing LIVE reports on Social media with Christian Radio people and Industry related folks all week. The reports are sponsored by “Convoy of Hope.”

Salem Radio Network host and political commentator Hugh Hewitt will deliver remarks at the NRB Presidential Forum on February 22, 2024, part of the 2024 NRB International Christian Media Convention. 

“All broadcasters have an obligation to program in the public interest, and none more than the members of the NRB. In a year of choosing, I am honored to speak at the Presidential Forum, reminding everyone of the role our programming plays in educating and inspiring the American electorate.


If you’re at NRB 2024 in Nashville this week Joseph Kebbie invites you to join him for a distinctive devotional experience on Friday February 23 at 8:10 AM in the Delta B Lobby. He’ll be discussing the significance of Christian Radio in his life. Also, you’ll receive a gift from Liberia for being there.


K-LOVE announced Brandon Lake and Sadie Robertson Huff will host the 11th annual K-LOVE Fan Awards taking place on May 26, 2024 in Nashville at the Opry House.

Also announced were details for some of the Fan Awards weekend events, including the Friday night kick-off concert and Sunday morning worship service. The kick-off concert will be headlined by MercyMe and also feature CAIN and Consumed by Fire. The Sunday morning worship service will be led by Elevation Worship.


Christian Media podcaster and Spark Media founder Misty Phillip announces the launch of her new “It’s Time to Stand Up” Video Podcast at NRB in Nashville this week. “It’s Time to Stand Up” emerges as a beacon of hope and a clarion call to action for Christians seeking guidance on how to navigate the pressing issues facing society while steadfastly holding to their faith.

The National Association of Gospel Radio is growing and wants to connect at their Radio Summit in the Eastern Region, June 21-22, 2024 in Norfolk, VA.

The summit will be  led by the newly-appointed Co-Chairs, label owner, promoter, Gospel Music Executive, Terrance Howell, and international gospel recording artist and syndicated radio host, Earl Bynum.


Momentum 2024 has added some new speakers. Industry experts tapped to speak this year include Rick Dunham, James Poulter, Lysa TerKeust and more.

Online classic Christian Rock station, The Blastozoic Era, is now divided into four eras:  The Early Blastozoic Era (the 1980’s); The Middle Blastozoic Era (the 1990’s); The Late Blastozoic Era (the 2000’s), and now, just added…The Later Blastozoic Era (the 2010’s).

The Blast founder Colin “Cruz” Strombeck says, “Currently on weekdays, we do an hour of 80’s, then an hour of 90’s, then an hour of 00’s and and hour of 10’s, and then the cycle starts over.  On weekends, we do three hours of 80’s, three hours of 90’s, three hours of 00’s, and three hours of 10’s.”


KEEH/Spokane (Shine 104.9) is featured in a piece from FM has broadcast from The Spokesman Review. KEEH, Spokane’s #1 station in the latest Nielsen ratings, has been broadcasting for 30 years, but it was a 2016 rebrand to Shine 104.9 that boosted its audience size and expansion.

HisAir NEWS FLASHBACK – Feb 19, 2018 – KCMS/KCIS/Seattle GM Ann Marie Mulholland, commented on the hiring of KSBJ/Houston PD Ty McFarland as new PD, “Ty’s extensive experience and success in the CCM format will help elevate our stations to new heights. We are thrilled to have him join the CRISTA Media team and fulfill the mission of Spreading God’s Love through Media!” McFarland replaces Matt Stockman who exited the KCMS PD chair last November to join EMF as KLOVE PD.
