WLAB/Fort Wayne (STAR 88.3) has launched “STAR Classics”, a streaming channel celebrating 50 years of CCM.

WLAB PD Don Buettner says, “I thought it would be a perfect time to offer this as it coincides with the release of “The Jesus Music” movie. There’s a unique history of CCM just here in Fort Wayne with Petra, Nancy Honeytree, a Jesus Music pioneer of her own, and Jeoffrey Benward, part of the classic Aaron Jeoffrey duo. In putting this together, you can hear how these songs written years ago can speak right into people’s situations today. That’s the timeless nature of hope and encouragement.”

STAR Classics is available now through October 31 on the STAR 88-3 mobile app and at star883.com.
