Jennifer Epperson has been named Executive Director/CEO at Kinship Christian Radio based in Blue Earth/Mankato, MN. Epperson replaces Matt Dorfner who will retire soon.
Jennifer was previously spent 15 years with Moody Radio as station manager at WRMB/Boynton Beach, FL, and then as their Director of Research and Learning at Moody Radio in Chicago. She is also the current NRB Radio Committee Chairwoman. She will officially start her new position on April 1st.
Kinship Christian Radio operates KJLY/Blue Earth, MN including 7 sister stations in Minnesota and Iowa, plus translators.
KWFC/Springfield has hired Dana McMullen as the stations new Digital Marketing Director. Dana is new to the radio but has an extensive background in marketing and graphic design.
Also at KWND/Springfield (The Wind) promotions Director Katie Rickman has accepted a job in medical sales and will be leaving the station. KWND is looking for replacement asap so if interested go HERE.
Lady A’s Hillary Scott takes over as host of Country Faith Radio on Apple Music Country. In the biweekly two-hour radio show, Hillary shares songs and stories that inspire her both musically and spiritually. On hosting Country Faith Radio on Apple Music Country, Lady A’s Hillary Scott said: “I was so excited to be asked to host Country Faith Radio this season. I’m looking forward to having some of my dear friends on to catch up on life and what’s most important to us. I also can’t wait to share songs that have truly impacted me, have helped get me through difficult times and really just help remind us how connected we all are.”
Spirit Radio/Ireland has officially gone on the air at 95.8FM in Clonmel. The station is broadcasting in all the main cities and 14 of the largest towns across Ireland.
CEO of the station, Rob Clarke says, “It’s great to finally have the opportunity to connect with listeners in Tipperary. We’ve had a few challenges but are now launching and are keen to engage with the people here.’’
KNKT/Albuquerque NM (107.1) owned by Calvary Albuquerque is being sold to Bible Broadcasting Network for $1.4 million. Calvary Albuquerque’s other property KLYT/Albuquerque (Star 88) is not included in the sale.
