Doug Griffin has been added to the lineup at WEMI/Appleton (The Family) network. Starting this Monday Doug will host weekdays 10am-noon.
Integrity Music has announced the appointment of Cole Flynn as its new Vice President of Marketing. Flynn returns to Integrity Music after spending five years with Elevation Worship Records, where he most recently held the position of Label and Marketing Director.
With over a decade of experience in the Christian music industry, Flynn has led efforts in marketing, creative strategy, advertising, social media, operations, publishing, and radio promotions. During his tenure, he achieved five No. 1 singles in four years and helped grow online audiences by millions. His expertise includes positioning streaming initiatives for long-term success.

The Salem Radio Network (SRN) was granted permission to broadcast a live simulcast of the ABC News Presidential Debate on Tuesday, September 10th beginning at 9PM Eastern time; the debate simulcast will last 90 minutes, and will be moderated by ABC’s David Muir and ABC News Live “Prime” anchor Linsey Davis
As previously announced, immediately prior to the debate simulcast, SRN’s Larry Elder will anchor a 2-hour Pre-Debate Special from 7PM to 9PM Eastern time featuring SRN talk hosts Dr. Sebastian Gorka, Dennis Prager, and Mike Gallagher (who will be reporting live from a debate-watching party at the Studio Movie Grill in Tampa, Florida.) Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council and host of the Salem Media Group news program This Week On The Hill will also join the Pre-Debate Special on Tuesday evening.
Tom Tradup, SRN’s Vice President/News & Talk Programming, says: “We are grateful to ABC News for allowing SRN to simulcast this important debate just days before five states—Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Virginia, Vermont and Illinois—begin in-person early voting during September.” He adds, “SRN’s live simulcast of the ABC News Presidential Debate and our own Trump/Harris Pre-Debate Special are part of SRN’s continuing commitment to keep affiliates and listeners informed on major breaking news stories throughout Campaign 2024.”
Veteran air personality Chuck Knapp was honored (and surprised) by family and friends who presented him with his very own personalized park bench at the Minnesota State Fair last week.
Chuck says, “My family & friends have really snuck one in on me and I’m so thankful they did. This was a project 7 months in the making and I was clueless about it. Such a beautiful tribute for my 80th birthday present. This bench will be placed by the barn I slept in at the Minnesota State Fair when I was 4 years old. Thanks be to the Lord God Almighty and my parents for my life. Please always choose life.”

KJIC/Houston (Christian Country Radio) debuted “Keep The Faith Country”, a 2-hour program similar to the original KeepTheFaith program, but features Christian Country format. KJIC PD Sean Vaughn has been working behind the scenes with the KTF team for months in the creation of the new version.

KWND/Springfield (88.3 The Wind) has launched a new frequency, 89.5 FM. The new frequency will broadcast as far west as extreme southeast Kansas, reaching the following cities: Joplin, Lamar, Carthage, Neosho, Pierce City and Stockton. While the frequency is new, the content will feature the same radio personalities, music and theme as 88.3-FM in Springfield.
