After two years of cancelled events, KTSY/Boise gathered listeners together for Celebrate Parktacular-HopeFest 2022!
Parktacular is an annual, free event featuring live music, food, kid’s activities and craft vendors. Approximately 2,000 members of the KTSY family from all walks of life came together to worship, eat, and sing. Artists The Afters, Love and the Outcome, and Zauntee helped to unify, encourage, and focus our minds on the hope of Jesus through music.
KTSY morning co-host Tristi Hendrick said “I love seeing our listeners in such a fun environment. It’s cool to watch the kids grow up loving the music, crafts, and food. When they come by the KTSY booth to show us how much they have grown since the last event, it feels like a big family reunion!”
Salem announced that George Brauchler has been named weekday morning host on KNUS/Denver (710 KNUS). He replaces market veteran Peter Boyles.
“In a very short time, George has captured the hearts and minds of our Denver listeners. Peter Boyles was and is a Denver radio institution, but I am fully confident George will do a fabulous job filling those shoes,” added Phil Boyce, Salem Senior Vice President of Spoken Word
George says, “I’m excited to be a regular part of the 710 KNUS team. With so much happening in Denver and our state, it’s thrilling to interact every day with our listeners on the issues.”
Provident/Sony Music and Steven Curtis Chapman announce the October 14 release of his latest album, Still. A pre-order for the anticipated new album from the multi-GRAMMY® Award-winning artist/songwriter begins today (8/26).
A new music video for “I’m Alive” also drops today and can be viewed HERE.
GRAMMY® Award-winning Casting Crowns releases Healer (Deluxe), the follow-up album to the January release. Healer (Deluxe) features seven new songs in addition to the seven tracks on the original album.
“When working on this album, I realized all the songs I was writing dealt with healing in some way, something we all need,” shares Mark Hall of Casting Crowns. “This deluxe album is the full picture about healing, about how God meets us where we are and what His healing looks like. Healer is a scripture-filled push forward, challenging us to seek true healing from Jesus, the only Healer we need.”
UPDATE: Wayne Pederson updated his medical journey today on his blog HERE.
Wayne says “So from the point of an unknown future, we now have a clean bill of health and a clear path before of us. We’ll be staying with friends in Houston for a few days, meeting with our lead surgeon Tuesday, and heading home next week to Naples. Regaining strength and energy will take several weeks, but we’re on our way.”
