WNFR/Port Huron (90.7 Hope FM) wrapped up their Annual Spring Share Hope on-air fundraiser exceeding their goal by 107%!! After reaching the budgeted goal Thursday afternoon, the station shared their immediate need for a new HOPE FM transmitter. Additionally, the exceeded funds will be put towards a few expansion opportunities to help HOPE FM grow its broadcast throughout Michigan!
Station Manager Brain Smith shared: “God is so good! I am so humbled to lead such an AMAZINGLY gifted team that serves hard! I will never get calloused to the generosity of people who get behind our mission. I’m blown away…another great fundraiser with Jack and the Heart Share Group!”
SGM Radio announced today it will premiere The Kristina Cornell Morning Show this Monday, May 2, 2022. The show will air weekdays 7-9am eastern. , Kristina will bring the energy that we all need to face our work week. “I want to ensure programming that features new artists as well as all of our classic favorites.” says Cornell.
SGM Radio CEO Rob Patz tells HisAir, “Kristina brings an energy that we were looking for with The Morning Show her background with media and the music industry made her an instant fit for the direction we are headed at SGM radio.”
The Kristina Cornell Show on Abundant TV will also begin in May and the combination of these two endeavors will highlight southern gospel, inspirational, blue grass and Christian country music and testimonies of the miracles encounterd every day.
Christian Music group The Ball Brothers just returned from a mission trip taking supplies to Ukrainian refugees April 19-26th.
Daniel Ball tells what the group was doing, “We were able to load up two vans full of food to deliver to displaced Ukrainian refugees in visit media Ukraine we were able to deliver the food and supplies that they needed and also we got to sing at a church there on Sunday. It was a great time thank you so much for your support and continue to pray for those that are in need of all over the country of Ukraine.”

This week Centricity Music artist Katy Nichole’s ‘In Jesus Name (God of Possible)’ hit No. 1 on both Billboard’s Christian Airplay and AC Indicator charts.
“Making history, the song reaches the Christian Airplay penthouse in its 12th week, completing the quickest ride to No. 1 for a female artist’s first entry in the chart’s 19-year history,” says Billboard.
Nichole says, “I started Tik Tok in 2020 when quarantine started, and everyone had nothing to do. I kind of got a little momentum going. I posted every week. I made different videos. Some were music-related some of them not. This was just a regular week when I posted this video of a song called God of Possible. I didn’t have any expectations for this video. I didn’t know what it was going to do,” says Nichole during a Connections interview.”
KVNE/Tyler morning show host Mike Harper has graduated from the University Texas Tyler at age 64.
KVNE VP of Marketing and Community Connections Jennifer Bailey says, “He has been attending school since Moses parted the Red Sea. This is such a massive accomplishment. We are so proud of his hard work, dedication and commitment to achieving this life long dream, and doing it with no student loans in the process! Way to go Mike!”
