KDNW/Duluth (Life 97.3) PD/mornings Nate Grizzle announces he will exit the station to travel with his wife Kate starting in January 2022. His last day is December 30th.
KCMS/Seattle (SPIRIT 105.3) will launch a 47-day format flip to all-Christmas music starting Monday, November 8th. In the past the ALL Christmas format kicked off the evening of Thanksgiving Day.
KCMS MD Sarah Taylor stated: “Christmas music is the perfect reminder that there’s still joy because Jesus was born, and there’s a lot of comfort in enjoying the Christmas season. We want to bring this to the community we are so honored to be serving.”
Station General Manager Channah Hanberg added: “Listeners are telling us that they’re still struggling through the pandemic, but for different reasons this year. We all need hope, and we believe that the spirit of Christmas is exactly what we need, which is why we’re stepping up to provide extra hope and joy to Seattle, again, this year.”
The RockDown Show with Dustin Tatro airs its 1st anniversary show this weekend featuring John Cooper on affiliates.
The RockDown Show is cutting ties with NewReleaseToday Syndication after this week’s broadcast and will self-syndicate the show. No disruption to stations is expected.
