Radio Training Network has filed to purchase WTID/Graceville, FL. (6kw @ 101.7) from GFR, Inc for 250K.
WTID is the 4th station to be purchased by RTN in Florida this year, it will simulcast WIZB/Dothan and will be part of The Joy FM/Alabama. The contour has good coverage in south Dothan which will complement the WIZB signal which is on a stick north of Dothan.
WWIL/Wilmington (Life 90.5) hits 108% of its goal in the Fall Fundraiser. Carolina Christian Radio CEO/Pres Matt Wall told HisAir, “The decision was made to reduce Fall Fundraiser from the traditional 4 days and a half day on Friday to 3 days (Tuesday – Thursday) and to keep the goal the same. The entire staff worked hard weeks before to prepare and God touched listeners with the stories of hope, and with the help of Vidare Creative coaching and a week long Kickstarter Campaign prior to Fall Fundraiser, Life 90.5 hit the goal and beyond. 108%!”
Starting next Monday Sam Jones returns to the air at The LifeFM Network/South Carolina. Sam is technical director at The LifeFM and used to do the afternoon drive, but stepped away when he had back surgery back on March 1st. He will be heard middays from 10 AM till 2 PM.
