KTLF/Colorado Springs  (Light Praise) makes a few changes. Rick McConnell is the new host of the Sonrise Morning Show. Bill Arbuckle is the new weekday mid-day Praise host.  And at The Legacy radio station (97.5 in Colorado Springs) Elly Singer has been added for Morning Show Host and Rick McConnell is the afternoon host.

KNWI/Des Moines (Life 107.1) teamed up with Agape Pregnancy Center and Pathways of Pella Pregnancy Care Center for the 2nd annual Drive Thru Baby Shower on Thursday, July 12. Life 107.1 listeners drove thru over their lunch hour and donated 7,073 diapers, over 250 containers of wipes, over $500 in cash and gift cards, and many toiletries, baby outfits, and homemade baby quilts for central Iowa moms and their babies. Valley Church in West Des Moines and First Reformed Church in Pella hosted the showers in their parking lots.

Life 107.1 Listener Engagement Director Jen Green said, “It’s great to watch central Iowans love their neighbors—and in this case, the littlest of their neighbors. The Drive Thru Baby Shower is just one way Life 107.1 and its partners provide the opportunity while central Iowans step up to help fill the need.”

The University of Northwestern-St. Paul will officially take over KGBI/Omaha (100.7 The Fish) this Monday Aug 6th. Salem announced in May it was selling KGBI for $3.15 million.  KGBI PD Dave Crossier told HisAir.Net his last day on the air at the Fish will be August 5th.
