WKNZ/Milford (The Bridge) has been named “Best Radio Station for Music Downstate by Delaware Today.”
Delaware Today readers have selected the Best of Delaware winners including the best radio stations selected by listeners in their community who tune in each day. This year, The Bridge was named Best Radio Station for Music Downstate.
Bill Sammons and Denise Harper started doing radio together in 1991, and were reunited in 2010 when The Bridge was launched. The Bridge serves Kent and Sussex Counties in Delaware, plus South Jersey and a portion of Maryland’s Eastern Shore on 88.7 FM in Harrington, DE. In 2017, The Bridge expanded to cover most of the Delmarva Peninsula when it purchased 92.5 FM in Pocomoke City, MD. A new translator was added on 94.3 FM in Ocean City, MD to serve that beach community – and visiting tourists.
The Drive-In Theater Tour series, produced by Awakening Events, is growing again. Awakening Events today announced that Casting Crowns will join industry TobyMac, Michael W. Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman, Mac Powell, and more as part of the Drive-In Theater Tour Series. The Casting Crowns tour begins in Fayetteville, AR on July, 15th, with dates planned in Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, Indiana, Ohio, and more.
