Industry News Bits 5-9-18

At Salems WFIL/WNTP Philadelphia, Programming/Marketing Manager and morning host Mark Daniels is exiting the station after more than 24 years. He will become the Director of Broadcasting for the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals, producers of programs such as “The Bible Study Hour”, which Mark has hosted for the past 15 years.  Mark Says, “The Alliance is located in Lancaster, PA (where I live), so I’m working a normal daily schedule for the first time in DECADES!”

 Mark will continue as the morning host (via voicetracks), donor campaign host, an programming consultant as a contractor until his replacement is named.  If interested check the listing here on the HisAir.Net JOBS page…

Salem Media Group, Inc. Announces First Quarter 2018 Total Revenue of $63.8 Million. For the quarter ending March 31, 2018 compared to the quarter ending March 31, 2017. Net broadcast revenue increased 0.5% to $48.1 million from $47.8 million.
