WorshipFM’s 1st station (flagship WWWA/Augusta 95.3) went on the air in the spring of 1998, operating at 5800 Watts from Cook Hill in Vassalboro. In 2004, the signal was upgraded, doubling its height by moving to a new tower. That same year the station also started streaming on the Internet. In 2005, the power for WWWA was increased to 12,000 Watts.
On Saturday, May 5th, over 250 moms were pampered while their children were loved and cared for. KNWI/Des Moines (Life 107.1) partnered with three area churches to bless single moms in the Des Moines metro during Single Moms’ Morning Out 2018. Every mom got to “shop” in the Blessings Boutique, a pop-up store at each church which was completely stocked with donations from Life 107.1 listeners. Mothers and their children left with a gift bag filled with goodies, including gas and grocery cards, and a complete lunch from Chick Fil A.
Jen Green, Life 107.1 Listener Engagement Director said, “Once again, Life 107.1 is completely humbled by the generosity of our listeners and the tireless efforts of three amazing churches filled with over 500 volunteers. Every Mom felt the love of Christ during Single Moms’ Morning Out.”
