UK’s Premier Christian Radio launched the new channel “Premier Praise”,  On Easter Sunday. The new station plays classic and contemporary Christian music 24-hours a day, on the new national DAB network.  Peter Kerridge, Premier’s CEO, says “The aim of ‘Premier Praise’ is to help people develop their natural spiritual lives by delivering uplifting, inspiring, popular Christian music with warmth and understanding.

“Apart from providing a feel-good, all-music alternative to Premier Christian Radio, we hope to attract people who might otherwise shun Christian media in favor of something more mainstream.”


Family Life Communications is turning 50 this year. Its president, Randy Carlson, (pictured at left) who hosts the network’s flagship p3-28-16news2rogram, “Intentional Living,” discussing marriage, family and finances with callers from around the country says, “We started in Michigan and built up around Michigan and really thought our growth should move into areas of the country that were expanding.” 

The ministry started broadcasting out of its first purchased station in Michigan in 1969. 

“We see today the opportunity to really fulfill this mission in helping the Christian community to live intentionally with Christ, and we just think that’s sort of our niche, to present a lot of hope,” Randy says. “That’s what we want our mission to be, for people to feel hopeful.”


KWPZ/Seattle “Praise 106.5 FM” has moved into new studios.  According to a news release, the company outgrew its space and moved its studios to a 3,000 square foot facility. The radio station had been in its previous location for 35 years.
