Fair Trade Services Senior VP, Marketing & Promotion Dan Michaels announces a series of staff promotions and hiring to coincide with the integration of the label’s marketing and radio promotion teams. Kai Elmer (at left) has been appointed Senior Director, National Promotion with all radio functions reporting to him.
Manager, National Promotion Sarah Shinn and Marketing Coordinator Mike Moseley have both been promoted to the role of Senior Marketing Manager. Together with the rest of the radio and marketing team, they will serve all marketing and promotion needs for the Fair Trade roster of artists. Sydney Grommesh has been hired as Manager, National Promotion beginning February 24.

Dustin Tatro, host of the inactive Christian Rock show At Night with Dustin Tatro and volunteer host with Solid Rock Radio, has been appointed Organist with the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball. Tatro, who has a graduate degree in church music and organ and serves as organist for St Paul UMC in Abilene, will be the fourth official Texas Rangers organist in the team’s history, and will be instrumental in enhancing traditions as well the ballpark experience following a 19-year hiatus without an official organist. Dustin’s first season with the Rangers will also inaugurate the team’s new home, Globe Life Field in Arlington, and begins on Opening Day 2020. His role begins with a large library of pre-produced, authentic ballpark music featuring traditional sounds and favorites, new hits, and song excerpts designed to enhance or draw attention to specific and spontaneous moments in the game, this season using a vintage Hammond organ. He is already interacting with fans and professionals in the baseball community on Twitter under @TEXORGANGUY.
