Former “At Night with Dustin Tatro” and “Solid Rock Radio Midday” host Dustin Tatro checks in with HisAir. Dustin has been undertaking intense preparation to present a masterworks organ recital Sunday, November 17 at 4pm CST. The concert – which includes music depicting the struggle between good and evil and celebrates good’s ultimate triumph – spotlights the 2500-pipe Garland organ of St Paul United Methodist Church in downtown Abilene, where Dustin has served as organist since 2014. It is the second largest musical instrument in the Texas Big Country. Tatro’s program encompasses masterworks from the Baroque era to the 2000s, hymns to spirituals, and staples of organ literature from Bach, Mendelssohn, and Franck. A live broadcast of the recital may be viewed by following the St Paul Abilene facebook page or downloading the church’s mobile app. As far as rock radio, Dustin will return to Solid Rock Radio following the recital and is still waiting and discerning the right opportunity to bring the show back on air. He may be reached by email at dustin@atnight.rocks
