Moody Radio will honor Dr. Erwin Lutzer with the Robert Neff Award at the upcoming National Religious Broadcasters Convention at Proclaim 17, set for Feb. 27-Mar. 2 at the Orlando World Center Marriott. The award will be presented jointly by Moody Radio and the Christian Law Association on Wednesday, Mar. 1, 4:00 p.m., at the Falls Pool Private Dining Area. View event schedule.


Marci Truckey has joined  KALS/Kalispell, MT (Your Network Of Praise) as Announcer and Morning Show Co-host.


Black River Christian has hired 2 music veterans to their executive team. Brian Thiele will serve as Vice President, Radio Promotion for Black River Christian and Jill Tomalty joins as the Senior Director, Artist Management and Development for Black River Christian’s in-house management company, Thrive Management.

Thiele previously held positions at MCA Records and Lost Highway Records. and in 2004, he became Director of Promotion/Northeast at Vivaton Records before joining EMI CMG as Manager, National Promotion. Most recently, Thiele rose to Senior Director, National Promotion at Word Entertainment.

“I am so excited to be a part of the Black River family and I’m looking forward to growing our partnerships with radio,” said Thiele.“There’s such a good energy here already and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”

Tomalty began her music industry career at RCA Label Group before becoming an independent consultant through her own company, Noteworthy Nashville. She served as Director of Marketing & Brand Management at both Word Entertainment and Provident Label Group, Director of National Promotion at Flying Island Entertainment, and most recently as Vice President of Media & Marketing at Grassroots Promotion.


KKEQ/Grand Forks, ND (Your QFM) has been doing a feature called “Better To Give” for the last 10 years between Thanksgiving & Christmas. Pledge drive tithing dollars and donations from local businesses are given to families who were nominated by our listening family through our website. This year, KKEQ was able to bless a record 19 different families who have suffered a hardship in the past year with a $500 gift just in time for Christmas! 


KWND/Springfield (88.3 The Wind), along with presenting sponsor, Phoenix Home Care & Hospice, supporting sponsor, Zach Riggs Real Estate Group with Keller Williams, launched the CleanAIR Kids Club on Wednesday, January 4, 2017. Within 24 hours, over 500 children had been registered.

CleanAIR Kids Club members will receive an official membership card, monthly email newsletters with Bible verses and other activities that go along with the theme for that month. Kids will receive a special t-shirt, as well as, discounts to select concerts and local businesses. They will also be invited to special events just for Kids Club Members. Parents can sign up their kids for the CleanAIR Kids Club at the station website. Membership is free, and available for children ages 12 and under.
