Family Life Adds To Staff
Family Life/Bath, NY announced the hiring of David Felty as its new performing arts director. Felty will plan, develop and oversee the creative direction and implementation of Family Life’s theatrical productions, workshops, and training programs.
Felty comes to Family Life with 36 years of theater experience. Originally from Hershey, P.a., he’s enjoyed a successful stage career, having performed throughout the U.S. for venues such as Sight & Sound Theaters in Lancaster, P.a. in the production of Ruth (as Boaz), In the Beginning (as Lucifer/Satan), Daniel (as Nebonidus), and Miracle of Christmas (as Mary’s father).
Felty’s Broadway and National Tour credits include: Frank Wildhorn’s The Civil War, Schonberg and Boubil’s Les Miserables (Jean Valjean), and American Rhapsody: a Gershwin review. He’s also appeared on Star Search in two categories and was a guest on Nashville Now on CMT.
Before joining Family Life, Felty served as the director of the musical theatre program at Lancaster Bible College for eight years.

Felty studied religion and music at Grove City College. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two children, and live in Lancaster, PA.
