Chris Chicago Celebrated
A celebration of Life was held Saturday (11/23) in Spring Hill, TN for Nashville area friends and industry colleagues of Chris Chicago.
Christian Radio vet Chris Chicago passed away in Houston this September after a battle with cancer.
Family and friends celebrated Chris and reflected on Chris’s love for Disney, music and sports, and of course Christian Radio. Those attending today were encouraged to wear their favorite Disney gear, a baseball cap, team jerseys, band/label swag or accessories that reminded them of Chris and his joyful spirit.

Most recently Chris hosted nights on WayFM. He joined NGEN/Houston in 2015 as PD afternoon host, he left the position in Jan 2021. Previous radio experience includes KLYT/Albuquerque, and hosting the Rapzilla LIVE on Jam The Hype. He also was know for Radio Promotion at Shamrock Media Group and Save The City Records.
In 2022 Chris launched SOFLOW RADIO, a new digital station. In March 2022 Chris reunited with his former NGEN co-host Lil Ang for a new show on SOFLOW RADIO.
Chris is survived by his wife Jessica of 21 years and 4 children.
