Chase Exits EMF

Randy Chase has left his position as VP Radio at EMF citing “philosophical differences” as the reason for his resignation. Chase joined EMF as Air1 PD in 2013 moving to KLOVE PD, and VP Radio thereafter.  Most recently Chase was acting as interim PD with the departure of Matt Stockman.

Prior to joining K-LOVE and Air1 Radio, Randy served as Director of Country Programming for Cox Media Group. He served on the Country Music Association Board of Directors and was named a top country programmer by Country Aircheck and Radio Ink in 2012.

  • Regarding the post that says “Randy Chase has left his position as VP Radio at EMF citing “philosophical differences” as the reason for his resignation,” leaves the issue open ended, and many begin to speculate which leads to “false assumptions.” Perhaps a bit more clarity would be in order.

  • They have a new CEO who seems to be taking the company in a slightly different direction, particularly with film. They have been heavily promoting both on air and online a movie that his company WTA helped fund. They’re likely eventually not going to be focusing on radio as much as they had been.

I don’t and probably never know the reason Randy Chase decided to leave EMF

Anyway I’ve heard nothing but good things about Randy Chase and I am hoping he lands somewhere great.
