Changes At Good Shepherd Radio Indiana
Changes announced at Good Shepherd Radio, Inc as President Keith Reising is stepping down. Station Manager Keith Maddox moves up to President/Executive Director and Jim Hutson will serve as Vice President.
Good Shepherd Radio operated 2 stations in Indiana including Southern Gospel WYGS/Columbus (91.1) and CCM WKJD/Columbus (90.3 The Bridge FM).
Maddox tells HisAir today, “I’m humbled to be asked to be on the board of Good Shepherd Radio and promoted to President & Executive Director. Thanks to Keith Reising for having the vision and following God’s leading to start this ministry almost 20 years ago. Jim Hutson and myself are excited to take the helm and lean on the Lord for the next steps for this organization. We have expansion plans so we’ll see what God has in store.”
Maddox joined Good Shepherd Radio in March 2019 as PD of WKJD, and was promoted to Station Manager in August 2019.
Reising is stepping down and will retire after leading the ministry for almost 20 years. He’ll remain on the board for a while and will provide consulting services. Hutson joined Good Shepherd Radio in 2002 when the ministry first started and WYGS went on the air. He was Morning DJ but left for a while and has been at WYGS a total of 15 years. In his old role he hosted MD/mornings and will now be VP and Operations Manager, along with still handling Mornings & Music for WYGS.
