The Brant Hansen Show New Project
Next month, The Brant Hansen Show heads into unique territory: A stage comedy/musical about – of all things – race, unity, and Jesus.
“This is Producer Sherri’s project. She wrote it, and she’s producing it. She recruited a ton of talent, too, like Ruben Studdard and Adam Brock of ‘American Idol’ fame,” Brant tells HisAir.Net. “This is a topic we deal with on our show and podcast, and I can’t wait to see how Sherri makes it translate to the stage. The timing, and the message of actual hope, couldn’t be better.”
The show, called “The Bold and the Sanctified”, is September 24th at Pittsburgh’s 1300-seat Byham theater. With one show nearly sold out, Sherri Lynn says they may be adding a second.
It’s an artistic risk, but it’s worth it, she says.
“Unity is worth it. This stage show, like our radio work, isn’t about glossing over reality. It’s about making seeing God at work, watching Him knit together broken people, and what a beautiful thing that is.”
