SOS Radio Names New MD

KSOS/Las Vegas (SOS Radio) President Brad Staley announces Tim Cardascia as Music Director, joining the rest of the “It’s a Dry Heat!” team starting October 1, 2023.

Tim brings a wealth of experience from Christian Radio and the CCM Record Industry to the SOS Las Vegas Network Headquarters.

Tim says, “God is definitely in this story in so many ways. It’s an honor and privilege to be part of the SOS Radio family that’s impacted lives for over 51 years. I’m looking forward to making a difference, on and off the air.”  

Most recently Tim was with Radio By Grace/Amarillo where he served in the role of Marketing and Programming Director since September 2020. Tim’s previous Christian Radio experience includes Director of Development at KAMB/Merced, CA (Celebration Radio) and WBYN/Reading, PA (107.5 Alive). Tim may be best known for his time at WJTL/Lancaster, PA , and the many years he spent working backstage and radio for Creation Fest in Mt. Union, PA. He’s worked at WAY-FM and Forefront Communications (Records) in Nashville, and served as National Promotions Manager for Rebecca St. James.

In addition to founding Cardascia Communications, Tim’s been Morning Show host at WORD-FM in Penn., and Development Director/Mornings at Celebration Radio – KAMB, Merced, Cal.

SOS Program Director, Chalmer Harper, says, “I met Tim when I was an intern at WAY-FM in Nashville. We‘ve stayed in touch over the years, and I’m thrilled that we get to work together again. Tim has a passion for making a difference in others’ lives, and pointing people to Jesus through Christian Radio.”
